Description:

のとを(NotWo) is a musician who weaves delicate soundscapes by blending diverse recorded sounds and fragments, intertwining traces of time and memory. Working beyond genre boundaries, they focus on subtle shifts and lingering reverberations in sound. Their latest album, Makelweiβ, consists of nine tracks created by manipulating and reconstructing recorded material to reshape the experience of time. It quietly honors the beauty found in brokenness and fragmented landscapes, gently drifting between forgetting and renewal.

Synopsis:

Alice stands in the rusted city of Makelweiβ.
Shattered glass, fading candles, corroded iron, moss-covered warehouses, and distant ringing bells, she gathers the fragments of forgotten memories.
Slowly, a quiet melody begins to stir, signaling the city’s fragile rebirth.

Phantoms Records collaborated with Lostfrog to turn this project into a unique vinyl record.

All songs were entirely remastered in studio with high-end analog gear, providing a highly-dynamic, rich, crisp signature.
