What is Phantoms Records?

Phantoms Records is an independent boutique label based in France, dedicated to producing high-quality physical music releases and unique collector products.

As collectors ourselves, the label was born from growing frustration with the current indie market, where many companies prioritize volume and speed over sound quality and craftsmanship. We take the opposite approach: every project is produced with maximum care, regardless of time and cost.

Each release is individually mixed and remastered using high-end analog equipment, artwork is carefully developed for each project, and manufacturing is handled by pressing plants selected specifically for their quality standards. Everything is designed with vinyl as the final medium in mind.

With Phantoms Records, our goal is simple: deliver carefully crafted products we can be proud of.

 

Why are all releases limited?

We believe every release should remain special and meaningful.
For this reason, we do not repress sold-out titles. Once a release is gone, it will not be manufactured again.

 

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept:

  1. Credit cards (Visa / Mastercard)

  2. Apple Pay

  3. American Express

 

What about shipping?

We ship worldwide via insured shipments (valid for up to four records per order).

Orders shipped outside of Europe do not include VAT or import taxes. Please check your local regulations, as customs fees may apply depending on your country.

 

When will my order be shipped?

All items listed as “In Stock” are no longer in production.
If no pre-order date is shown on the product page, or if the estimated date has already passed, it means the items are in our warehouse and being prepared for shipping.

Each order is individually packed by hand with great care to protect the records and packaging.
Because of this careful handling process, shipping may take up to 14 business days.

 

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order means the product is still in production and has not yet been delivered by the factory.

The dates shown on the product page are estimates, not guaranteed shipping dates.
Vinyl production involves multiple independent manufacturing steps (test pressings, cutting, pressing, printing, assembly, pallet shipping, customs, etc.).
Delays at any stage can shift the entire schedule and are outside of our control.

 

Can you provide an exact shipping date for my pre-order?

No.
We cannot provide individual or exact shipping dates for pre-orders.

Orders are shipped as soon as the finished products are physically received at our warehouse.
Once your order ships, you will automatically receive tracking information by email.

For production updates, please refer to our official social media channels, where we post news when major milestones are reached.

 

I have my tracking number but nothing is showing, why?

Tracking numbers can be generated before the carrier physically scans the package.
Tracking will automatically update once the parcel has been collected and processed by the shipping company. This may take some time after label creation.

Can I return my order?

You have 14 days from the date you receive your package to request a return.

Returned items must be in original condition and securely packed.

Important:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Original shipping fees are not refundable.

  • Only the value of the returned product(s) will be refunded.

Refunds are processed after the returned items are received and inspected, using the original payment method.

 

Can I cancel my order?

In-stock items

Orders can be cancelled within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided the order has not yet been shipped.

After this period, cancellation is no longer possible, as card payment refunds can no longer be processed and orders may already be in preparation or shipped.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders can also be cancelled within 14 days from the date of purchase only.
After this period, the order is considered final and cannot be cancelled, as production quantities are confirmed with the factory and payment refunds can no longer be processed.

 

What if my order is damaged or missing?

Please contact us by email with your order number and clear photos if applicable.
We will investigate the issue and assist you as best as possible.

 

About returns

We strongly recommend using insured and trackable shipping when returning items.
We cannot be held responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

Refunds cannot be issued until the returned items are received.

As a boutique label dedicated to production and craftsmanship, most of our time is spent on creating and preparing releases.
For this reason, we may not be able to respond to all general inquiries.

Questions already covered in this FAQ may not receive individual replies.
Please contact us only if your message concerns a real issue with your order (damaged, missing, or incorrect items).
