Phantoms Records is an independent boutique label based in France, producing limited edition vinyl records and carefully crafted physical releases. Below you will find information about shipping, pre-orders, returns, cancellations and support.


About Us

What is Phantoms Records?

Phantoms Records is an independent boutique label dedicated to producing high-quality vinyl records and collector-focused physical editions.

As collectors ourselves, the label was born from frustration with a market that often prioritizes speed and quantity over sound quality and craftsmanship. We take the opposite approach: every project is produced with maximum care, regardless of time and cost.

Each release is individually remastered using high-end analog equipment, artwork is developed specifically for each project, and manufacturing partners are selected for strict quality standards. Everything is designed with vinyl as the final medium in mind.

Why are your releases limited?

We believe each release should remain special and meaningful. For this reason, we do not repress sold-out titles. Once a release is gone, it will not be manufactured again.


Shipping

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We ship worldwide via insured shipments (coverage applies for up to four records per order).

Are VAT or customs fees included?

Orders shipped outside of Europe do not include VAT or import taxes. Customs fees may apply depending on your country. Please check your local regulations before ordering.

When will my order ship?

If an item is listed as In Stock, it is already in our warehouse and being prepared for shipping.

If a product is marked as a pre-order, it means the item is still in production and will ship once we physically receive it.

Each order is packed by hand with great care. Because of this careful handling process, preparation time may take up to 14 business days before dispatch.

My tracking number shows no updates. Why?

Tracking numbers can be generated before the carrier physically scans the parcel. Updates will appear once the shipping company collects and processes the package.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Shipping addresses can be updated before dispatch only.

Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to modify the delivery address.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping information is accurate and up to date at checkout.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, reshipment can be arranged once it arrives back at our warehouse. Return and reshipping costs may apply.


Pre-Orders

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order means the product is still in production and has not yet been delivered by the factory.

The dates shown on product pages are estimates, not guaranteed shipping dates. Vinyl production involves multiple independent stages (test pressings, cutting, pressing, printing, assembly, pallet shipping, customs, etc.). Delays at any stage are outside of our control.

Can you provide an exact shipping date?

No. We cannot provide individual or exact shipping dates for pre-orders. Orders are shipped as soon as finished products are received at our warehouse.

You will automatically receive tracking information by email once your order ships.


Returns & Refunds

Can I return my order?

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Returned items must be in original condition and securely packed.

Return conditions

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Original shipping fees are not refundable.
  • Only the value of returned products will be refunded.

Refunds are processed after returned items are received and inspected, using the original payment method.

What if my return package is lost?

We strongly recommend using insured and trackable shipping for returns. We cannot be held responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. Refunds cannot be issued until items are received.


Cancellations

Can I cancel an in-stock order?

Orders may be cancelled within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided the order has not yet been shipped.

After this period, cancellation may no longer be possible as payment refunds cannot always be processed and orders may already be in preparation.

Can I cancel a pre-order?

Pre-orders can also be cancelled within 14 days from the date of purchase only.

After this period, the order is considered final as production quantities are confirmed with the factory.


Damaged or Missing Orders

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us by email with your order number and clear photos if applicable. We will investigate and assist you as quickly as possible.
