About Anata no Obake

Originally conceived in 2021 behind the scenes of NECO ASOBI, Anata no Obake began as a private and introspective project by u.u.

Early demos such as Taiwa, Fragment, and Anata no Obake were never meant for release. They were intimate conversations with music itself, created during a period of uncertainty and creative struggle.

In 2023, with NECO ASOBI on hiatus, two additional songs, Musubi and It’s Over, were completed with lyrics and vocals using Vocaloid Chis-AI, transforming the project into a heartfelt and emotional EP.

This vinyl edition was fully remastered in collaboration with KAOMOZI and Phantoms Records, preserving warmth, depth and dynamic range through an entirely analog-focused mastering process.

Now available for the first time on vinyl, Anata no Obake Vinyl represents closure, rediscovery and the quiet promise to continue creating.
