About Fashion Revolution

Fashion Revolution is a high-energy electronic collaboration between producer Laxal and J-pop idol RUKI, merging vibrant club production with playful pop aesthetics.

At the center of the project stands Naito-chan, a colorful gyaru character whose personality embodies joy, friendship, nightlife culture and unapologetic self-expression. The visual universe surrounding the release blends bright colors, playful fashion elements and nostalgic Japanese pop culture influences.

The A-side focuses on the explosive energy of Fashion Revolution, presented through a loudcut vinyl mastering designed to preserve the track’s intensity and club-driven character. Exclusive remix versions further expand the sonic palette, bringing new interpretations crafted specifically for this vinyl edition.

The B-side features Owaranai Night, a fast-paced happy hardcore anthem composed by Laxal with lyrics and vocals performed by RUKI. The track celebrates endless nights out, dancing with friends and the carefree spirit of youth culture.

The packaging was conceived around a fully reversible concept, allowing collectors to choose which visual identity of the release they wish to display. Both the sleeve and the OBI strip feature dual artwork layouts, effectively creating two possible front covers for the record.

Produced in a limited pressing, this edition follows the Phantoms Records atelier philosophy, where each release is developed as both a refined listening experience and a collector-grade physical object.
