Digital Databending is a corrupted archive turned into sound.
After their first works, Namaki reached a breaking point, music felt suspended, waiting for a deeper story to emerge. Out of that reflection came an album that bends memory, glitches perception, and reshapes identity.

The journey begins in familiar nostalgia: Windows XP startup tones, Démineur, Paint, echoes of childhood computers and endless hours at the screen. But the system fractures: error messages, blue screens, broken screensavers, collapsing finally into fragments of oldschool games. Each track is a corrupted file extension, a digital relic carrying both innocence and decay.

Unpredictable, layered, and transformative, Digital Databending feels like rediscovering a lost hard drive of the early 2000s, every glitch a memory, every distortion a story.

Released as a Phantoms Records artifact, this CD preserves the moment Namaki’s vision truly awakened, where their character began to breathe and artistic path took form.
