After more than a decade, Shingo DJ returns with one of the purest tribute EPs possible in collaboration with Phantoms Records.

Shingo DJ, a hardstyle and hardcore producer from Buenos Aires, first became known for his contributions to several Japanese compilation albums such as the legendary J-Core Masterz series under the Shingo DJ name and alternatively as Round Wave Crusher.

This tribute vinyl record is not just a tribute, but a nostalgic love letter to all the fans out there, bringing back iconic tracks such as BAD APPLE (not the regular version, but the special OHR edition played during the OTAKU HARDCORE REVOLUTION event in 2011), as well as Miko Tek.

But what makes it even more special is the revival of an artist who disappeared entirely from the scene yet marked a generation of J-Core fans: SPY47. Known for his cult album Ticket to Sweetland and his appearance at Otaku Hardcore Revolution, he left a strong mark before vanishing.

This EP includes, for the first time ever, the track Tender Kiss in its 175BPM Remix version, entirely reworked and optimized for vinyl as a pure Phantoms Records exclusivity.

This project would not have been possible without the collaboration of Round Wave Crusher. Yet it is through the persistence and artistry of Phantoms Records that the impossible has been achieved: bringing back Spy47, an artist who left an unforgettable mark on a generation before vanishing, and with him, the echoes of J-Core’s past, now reborn eternally on vinyl.

All songs were entirely remastered in studio with high-end analog gear, providing a highly-dynamic, rich, crisp signature.
